EEEEEEE!!!!

My Bridal Shower

Yes it finally happend. I had my pink and polka dot, cupcake and champagne bridal shower. it was stunning, even better then i had imagined it to be. i felt girly and got lots of presents. here are some more pictures. 9 days till my family comes, 16 days till im an old married woman. we're mostly picking up the odds and ends. :) (like at this moment we are working on place cards)

23 days till everyone is here! we're just geting details worked out. :)

down 30 lbs but im really struggling to keep it off. especially when our huge break is so soon and we're stressing to keep money saved and getting the wedding perfect.

1st bridal shower is in a week and 3 days. eeek!

family.

i am really excited to have my mom and dad come here. im honestly stoked about it. i know there will likely be fights and frusterations but mostly im just really happy about it. im always thinking of stuff we can do together during the days and night. site seeing and "australian" things.

so far my list includes:

the mall, to see whisk, and the gerocery stores, and to see how funny it is to see a westfield shopping mall on the other side of the world.

gold creek villiage, to look at all the shops, because they are cute :)

parliment house, for my dad the politican

war memorial, for my dad to learn about australia

australia national museum, cool stuff there

maybe the national libary, went with vana and had a great time

rugby game, my parents both love football so to see it played differently might be fun.

telstra tower, because its a major local landmark

some how schedual i time to go driving at dusk to see kangaroos.

mom will likely want to go to a fish and chippery

kingsleys, id looove to take my dad there but we'll see if we can afford it. likely not.

trivia at the labour club, because its fun and what we do every tuesday night.

im really so excited that i keep talking about it. haha :) everyone knows and i cant shut up.

wedding dress

bought my wedding dress the other day, should be here by monday. yay!

im finally back down to the weight i was before melbourne. thank God. :)

bec and i made my bridal shower invite. im so glad shes throwing me this party. its going to be great. i wouldnt have it any other way

we got a cool thing today, i wont say what it is incase someone read this but, it will be awesome once you see it.

geoff's blog is up and going, but he's been very distracted lately by it and another project.

i should go clean the bathroom. lord knows it needs it. :P

little busy bee

We're still getting stuff together for the wedding. working everyday now, so that we dont have to later. we're also trying to get organized and rearrange our living room for when everyone arrives. boxing books, taking shelves down, putting up pictures. ive started picking music for the cocktail party and reception. we're working with the photographers, and working out the cake.

we went to melbourne last weekend. we had an amazing time. it was so nice to be in a city again. we saw the beach, when to the usa food shop, costco, an american diner. i even had mexican food!! :) i also gained 3 kg. yuck! in one weekend. im still trying to work that off, but i might be there tomorrow.

we got my reception dress, its gorgeous, and the ring we thought was going to be my wedding ring, but its not going to work for us so we are selling it on ebay. *crosses fingers*

Bec and i have also started planning my bridal shower. its going to be so cute. pink and polka dots, cupcakes and champagne theme. :D sounds cute right?!

dad bought his ticket not too long ago and should have his passport this next week, shelbi i believe ordered hers yesterday, so all is coming along.

well well well!

now i can adcmit it on here because everyone knows! geoff and i are getting married!! all the wedding arrangments are always on our minds and just trying to get stuff ready. its been very crazy and thank Jesus for providing us with people that are giving us generous gifts of cash to help with the wedding. also thank Jesus for how everything is starting to come together. we're not living in a jumbled mess anymore which is great(more then great).

i got my ring, he proposed in the most adorable way. :)

its funny how most brides freak out about their wedding "what am i gonna do??" but my freaking out is way better then any of them. We're not just planning a wedding.

BAH!!!
im excited and i feel like things are all non stop right now. (which i like, but im positive my friends are sick of hearing about it!!!)

but when you are working all day really hard for one goal, thats all thats on your mind and it may seem very small to some people that we found matching lanterns, but for me thats MASSIVE! haha
